Lindsey Graham gave a response to John McCain’s Decision on Healthcare repeal!
Republican Senator John McCain shocked Washington D.C today when he announced that he could not in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy healthcare repeal bill, for it has mortifying consequences on the American people and the future of the Medicare program.
Almost immediately, the pundit class seized on discussing the implications for Lindsey Graham and John McCain’s close friendship, putting the lives of literally tens of millions of Americans on the back burner. Their friendship became the most important thing at stake here.
Later this afternoon, Senator Lindsey Graham came on Twitter to address the betrayal by his close friend, John McCain. He stated that though he was disappointed with McCain’s decision, it obviously has nothing to do with their friendship:
For now, we thank John McCain for taking the decent and best decision to vote against Trumpcare and not reprobating hundreds of thousands to an early death due to preventable causes, we don’t really understand the concern for his relationship with Graham.
We’re sure they’ll be able to renew their bond over their inevitable efforts to distribute sophisticated weapon systems to far-right Ukranian militias and plunge the United States into armed conflict with Iran.
