Ben Carson’s wife lambastes Media for failing to report Trump’s Gimmicks
Ben Carson, who is Trump’s Housing and Urban Development secretary, had made some controversial remarks throughout Trump’s administration. Earlier this year, he had said that slaves who were forcibly brought to America “immigrants.” Later on, he claimed that anyone with the right mindset, no matter how much adversity he or she faces, can get rich.
Not so surprisingly, Carson’s wife, Candy, too, shares her husband’s view. The two met while attending Yale Univerity in the ’70s in pursuit of their undergrad degrees. Strangely, a graduate from Yale University has the potential to make such the wacky claims. Recently, Candy had commented on the media’s coverage of Trump.
Candy during the weekend spoke at the conservative “Mom’s March for America” convention with other top names including Sarah Palin. In her speech, she said, “Our nation is sick and wounded, but we do have people who care. Although the various departments of the current administration do not all have their assistant secretaries in place, the heads of each of those departments, they’re getting things done.”
She continued, “You don’t hear about it in mainstream media because they have a different agenda than keeping our citizenry informed and America strong for future administrations. And although they are the only business protected by our Constitution because they are supposed to keep everyone informed of the truth, they have become unethical and manipulative to try to steer the minds of everyone to their way of thinking.”
“Those who wanted to take over our country knew that they only needed to gain control of three things in order to bring the United States down, our children, the press and our judicial system,” Candy added.
In her opinion, these mysterious people have taken over everything to the point where “books have been rewritten with a focus on indoctrination rather than true history.”
